It started out as an ape-like creature but after being wounded it became a dragon-like creature. Bagan is finally making an appearance in Japanese theaters later this month in a Mothra vs. Bagan prologue feature as part of a special Godziban event!. Bagan's theatrical debut is a significant one since the Monster was originally going to debut back in the 1990s opposite Mothra in a sequel to Godzilla vs. Biollante, but Toho unfortunately canceled the project after Godzilla vs. Biollante.
